What AHI Means in Your Sleep Apnea Report
Your report is prepared after certified sleep technicians and a sleep physician score the overnight recording. It is usually ready within 24–48 hours.
AHI (apnea-hypopnea index)
The average number of times per hour of sleep that breathing stops (apnea) or becomes very shallow (hypopnea). A higher number means breathing is interrupted more often.
Oxygen desaturation
How often and how far your blood oxygen level drops during the night. It shows how much the breathing pauses are affecting your body.
Treatment recommendation
