What do I need to do to be able to use the prisma APP?

1. Compatible Prisma device: The app is compatible only with specific prisma devices from Löwenstein Medical: prisma SOFT/SMART in the Plus and Max versions (WM090TD Plus/Max), prisma SMART and SOFT and prisma LINE (WM090TD, WM100TD) with the corresponding module (WM090MW/WM110MW). Please note that when using the prisma app on devices with a modem, the app’s functionality is limited.

How many devices can I connect to the prisma APP? (Does it only work with one device?)

You can connect one device to the prisma APP. It is not yet possible to connect two devices to the prisma APP at the same time.
If you receive a new device and want to ensure that your data is not lost during the switch, make sure you have a user account in the prisma app. This allows you to save all your data and transfer it to the new device.

What are the advantages of having an optional user account?

You can create a personal user account in the prisma APP. This is optional and offers you the following advantages:

1. It activates the app’s additional functionalities, such as goal setting, subjective evaluation of night-time therapy, and more.
2. Security: No other person with physical access to your therapy device can view your data.
3. Mobility: When replacing a device, you can view the data from both the old and new therapy devices in the app. However, the data from multiple therapy devices will not be merged without a user account.
4. Convenience: No e-mail address required when reporting a technical problem.

How do I connect my device to the prisma APP?

The prisma APP and your device are linked via a Bluetooth interface on the plus and max versions of the prisma SMART/SOFT white sleep therapy devices. It is important for the function to be activated on your smartphone. You can easily make the connection yourself:

1. Open the app and select the “Pair new therapy device” button.
2. Please take your time to read the information on data protection.
3. If you agree with this information, you can continue with the pairing.
4. Then select the therapy device you have and follow the instructions in the app or on your device.
5. Select the white prisma SMART/Soft device.
6. Activate pairing mode on the device.
7. Start the device search in the app.
8. Confirm your therapy device .
9. Next, enter the code shown on the device into the app.
10. Your device is now linked to the app.

Why is the data only displayed later or not at all?

There may be several reasons for this, depending on the type of device you are using.

If a device without Bluetooth, such as the prisma LINE or prisma SOFT/SMART (black), is used, the data is transmitted once a day via modem. Normally, this only happens in the afternoon. If the data is not transferred for more than a day, it may be due to a weak network connection on your device. In this case, try moving the device closer to a window to improve the network connection.
